SUBSIDIZED HOUSING FOR THE LOWER-INCOME ELDERLY

This independent living community provides housing for persons aged 62+.  The community consists of 48 ground floor apartments in twelve quadruplex buildings.  Amenities include on-site laundry facilities, mail service, rubbish disposal, maintenance & management, a community/activity center, picnic area and supportive services to help tenants maintain their independence.

Living in the St. Elizabeth Place community is  made affordable through assistance from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  Heads of the Household must be at least 62 years of age and the household must meet HUD income eligibility requirements to be eligible for tenancy.  For more information about becoming a member of the St. Elizabeth Place community, please call the rental office at (843) 235-3031.
